Alp is a charming mountain village located in the valley of the Alp river, on the eastern side of lower Cerdanya, or Baixa Cerdanya, on the plain, at an altitude of 1,159m up to 2,500m. Here you will find La Molina and Masella ski resorts, surrounded by forests of red and black pines.
The center of the town is located at the foot of the road that connects with the Cadí Tunnel, the Cerdanya aerodrome and the Fontanals golf course, and retains architectural examples from the XII century.
This privileged geographical situation, the proximity to the alpine ski slopes and the large number of cultural and sports activities, has made Alp a first class residential area. Here, you will find some excellent hotels and holidays facilities, and a nice variety of restaurants, that together with a wide range of products and services (boutiques, swimming pools, bars, cinema, discos...) compliment the extensive ludic and cultural offer for both winter sports lovers and visits during the summer or just for the weekend.
In Alp, you can enjoy nature and winter sports, as this is the place where you will find La Molina and Masella, together to form Alp 2500, the largest ski resort in Spain. It has all the necessary services for a perfect holiday destination. |
